Introduction
The FOHP board voted at its June meeting to investigate with HPEC General Manager Tim Lynch the possibility of installing a number of horse obstacles in the vacant area north of the Community Arena round pen.
Updates
10June2019: We submitted our proposal for design of Phase 1 and it was accepted by the Town of Queen Creek. We have lodge poles (Brent & Carrie Guida) and a mailbox (Kathleen Dotson) already donated. The remaining items will be purchased.
7Feb2019: We met with Bruce Gardner, Assistant Town Manager, and Rich Purcell, Parks Maintenance Supervisor. We reviewed our proposal and discussed risk, materials and maintenance. We received good feedback and the agreement that we could move forward with detailed obstacle design, placement and maintenance checklists.
