Corporate

Corporate Structure

As an public corporation incorporated in Arizona and registered with the US IRS as a 501(c)3, the Friends of Horseshoe Park (FOHP) is governed by its charter and the organizational documents filed with the IRS.

FOHP is managed by a Board of Directors (the “Board”).  The Board is comprised of 11 members: a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and seven (7) other directors.

Each Director is elected to a two year term, with roughly half the Directors being up for election every year in May.

Bylaws

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee (“EC”) is a proposed extension of the Board to allow for handling of day to day corporate dealings to be handled without involvement of the full Board.  The intent being to expedite closure of issues, but also to reduce the monthly Board agenda by removing mundane, expected actions required of the Corporation and allowing the full Board to focus on larger issues.

Policies

The policies listed here are a mix of FOHP general and RnB specific policies.

Many have their basis in the Corporate bylaws and provide clarification on implementation details.
